Kathi has served as CRF's Executive Director for over seven years and was the organization's first full-time employee. Although no one in her family has been affected by choroideremia, she has worked in nonprofit fundraising and management at various environmental, human service and rare disease organizations for nearly 35 years. She has steadily increased CRF's fundraising revenue from $400K in 2019 to over $1M in 2026. Originally from the Chicago area, she currently lives in Tampa, FL with her husband of 34 years, Joe, and has two adult children living in Illinois and Alabama. Kathi and Joe also have a senior chihuahua-shih-tzu mix named Tatertot, and enjoy spending as much family time as possible at Lewis Smith Lake in Alabama.

Reagan Devinney serves as CRF’s Development and Communications Manager. She first joined the Foundation in 2021 as a part-time Digital Marketing Coordinator before transitioning into her current full-time leadership role in 2025. Reagan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing with a minor in Business Administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University. During college, she gained nonprofit experience through an internship with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City, where she developed a passion for mission-driven work and community engagement. Today, Reagan helps advance the Foundation's mission by supporting fundraising, communications, and community outreach efforts that connect and strengthen the global CHM community. She resides in the Kansas City area with her fiancé and their black Lab. Outside of work, Reagan enjoys reading, crafting, and antique shopping.

H. Eric Hartman, a CHMer, is a founding member of the Choroideremia Research Foundation and has served in leadership roles since 2000, including as President and Executive Director. He currently serves as Director of Advocacy, representing the global CHM community. He works closely with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Eye Institute (NEI), the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), and professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO). He also collaborates with the Global Genes RARE-X Vision Consortium and serves as the CRF's delegate to Retina International. In support of the global CHM community, Eric has spoken on behalf of the Choroideremia Research Foundation in 11 countries across three continents, helping strengthen international collaboration and advance patient advocacy worldwide. A proud New Orleanian, Eric is also an artist and online content creator.

Cory MacDonald is a husband, dad, "Grampa," and "Great-Grampa" from Springfield, Massachusetts, the literal home of the Choroideremia Research Foundation (CRF). Before co-founding the CRF, Cory worked in the production industry with training in time study, line balancing, just-in-time manufacturing, and inventory control systems. He also worked as a professional clown and animator, earned black belts in taekwondo and hapkido, and founded the Blind Justice System, where he taught self-defense to individuals who are blind or have low vision. Legally blind since the age of 22, Cory was diagnosed with choroideremia (CHM) in 1968 and, at the time, was the youngest person known to be diagnosed with the condition. He co-founded the Choroideremia Research Foundation in 2000 and has served in numerous leadership roles, including President, Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Scientific Officer, Fundraising Director, and Engagement Director. For five years, he held all of those roles simultaneously, helping build the organization from the ground up and laying the foundation for its continued growth and impact.
